Australia: Nearly 300 Activists in orange
On a global day of action six years later, supporters in orange jumpsuits gathered outside the U.S. Consulate in Sydney’s Martin Place to represent the nearly 300 detainees remaining in Guantanamo Bay.
Activists wearing orange jump suits formed the figures 275 representing the approximate number of detainees still held in Guantanamo Bay.
And lots of passers by on the way to work joined the action, signed up to the petition and took leaflets etc too.
