Guantánamo on stage in Poland
In the afternoon of 11 January, Warsaw local group of Amnesty International organized an action starting at 16.00 local time. People passing by could see a performance about life in Guantánamo.
Those who had time to stop and think about it could also sign the petition on behalf of the detainee Abdula al-Gizzawi, and get some more info on torture at Guantánamo. They also got postcards for President Bush. We collected more than 200 signatures and are satisfied with the action.
